I basically hate Michael Anderle (Not really) because I haven't slept in a few weeks reading his series (really). Then he hands me off to Paul with the Boris series and I discover the Betrayed by Faith series.Paladin is a great open to a fresh new world. I'm looking forward to more. Great author with tons of potential.

Paladin Betrayed by Faith Book 1 eBook Paul C Middleton Reviews
I haven't determined if I really like this book. It slows down , speeds up and then repeats the sequences. A lot of the descriptive parts are weak giving me the feeling I'm missing a lot.
I enjoyed this book, and would have given it five stars for character development and plot-line, but...I'm a little too catholic to enjoy one of the main plot twists. Not wanting to write any spoilers, I'll just say that the whole betrayed by faith thing should have been a warning to me. However, Mr. Middleton did an excellent job writing this, kudos on getting the editing done well, something that some independents have a hard time with. I will read the next one, because honestly, I do want to know what happens next.
I can't wait for the next book.

This was a good book and kept me interested in the story I will definitely read the next one because I want to know where it leads.
Decent story and writer. Though one can tell this is his 1st big solo. I enjoyed it for what it is. A start (in all senses of the word)
This book is set in a very believable world and has interesting characters. The fight scenes are awesome and the author has managed to still make the non-fight portions of the book interesting. I really like the fact that the plot lines are positioned for the next book without employing a trite cliffhanger. I am already wondering when the next book will come out.
